Ever see a presentation with data and you can't read the Slide or the data?


Too many people make the same mistake.


They show ALL of the data when there were only {Enter your single digit number here} point(s) they were referring to.


This means your most important point(s) and what that point(s) corresponds with/is opposite to.


That's it!


Nothing more!


But don't forget the following:


* Highlight the human impact behind the data.

* Use storytelling to connect the data points in a coherent flow.

* Integrate emotional appeal to make data relatable where possible.


Data DOES tell a story.


It can provide not just clarity but credibility.


But let's be real, too much data can just be . . . whatever the opposite of clarity is.
